Deb Balogh Kosche 1976

I’ve made my home in the Seattle area the past 29 years, after 10 years in Chicago and 3 years in Japan following graduation. There I’ve put my Communications degree to good use as a C-level executive assistant at global companies including Starbucks, T-Mobile, Amazon, and currently PACCAR. I caught the folk music bug in the late 1980s and now play fiddle in two Scandinavian folk bands and am a regular, with my husband Ralph, on the dance floor at Scandinavian, Contra, Swing, Waltz, Cajun and Zydeco dance events. We both perform almost every year at Seattle’s Northwest Folklife Festival, me on fiddle and Ralph dancing.
