Central junior goalkeeper Sydney Lunardi received third-team all-North Region recognition for a youthful Dutch women’s soccer squad.
At 9-6-2 overall, Central was 3-2-2 in Iowa Conference play, taking fifth place. Lunardi, a two-time league defensive player of the week, freshman midfielder Lauryn Kramer and junior forward Kayla Sunvold were named second-team all-conference. Central had just two seniors on its roster.
