Kurtis Brondyke 2011

Kurtis competed in the U.S.A. Outdoor Track and Field Championships June 22-23 in Sacramento, Calif., after winning the qualifying round. During his senior year, Brondyke won the Division III indoor pentathlon title and placed second in the outdoor decathlon, qualified eighth in the 16-man field with a mark of 7,795 points. At last year’s Olympic Trials in Eugene, Oregon, he compiled 7,614 points to finish 11th. At the 2015 championships in Eugene, he was seventh with 7,475 points. Kurtis is an assistant track and field coach working primarily with jumps and multi-events at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, where he lives with wife Elizabeth Arentsen Brondyke ’10, who is the program assistant for the study abroad and exchange program at the University.
