Jaron Byrum ’09 of New London, Iowa, is the assistant high school boys’ track coach at Louisa-Muscatine Schools. Along with fellow coach Guy Dierikx ’08 of Riverside, Iowa, Jaron led the Falcons to the first team victory in five years at Lone Tree. Later in the season the team won its home meet, outdistancing five other teams, and brought home two team trophies. In addition to coaching track, Jaron is the junior high resource teacher and high school boys’ and girls’ cross country coach and Guy teaches high school physical education and coaches football.
