This summer I was one of 2 teachers from Iowa selected to attend the Mickleson Exxon Mobil Teacher Academy in Jersey City, New Jersey. There were 200 teachers from around the country who attended the workshop which focused on integrating math and science. It was a fantastic week of learning, and I’m excited to be able to share everything I’ve learned with my 3rd grade students at Brookview Elementary School, which is part of the Waukee School District.
