Doran completed 1,418 miles of biking for the “Sacramento May is Bike Month Challenge.” He was ranked the top cyclist for week four for the Sacramento Wheelman and second overall in the club. Over the years, Doran has collected pennies found during his travels on the bike to charity. Doran and wife Bonnie Kuyper Simmons ’58 live in Sacramento, Calif.
