I am Lecturer in the Department of Japanese Studies at the National University of Singapore, where I have been teaching for 2.5 years. I teach courses on Japan’s geography and history, including a field study to Japan each year. This course always reminds me of my study abroad experiences at Central (Hangzhou, Yucatan, San Sebastian), which were transformative. Earlier this month I received two teaching awards, and both committees highlighted my overseas course. Thanks to Central for the continued inspiration!

Hi, Chris; Sorry I didn’t know you were at NUS. CUI, 1969. I take a group of George Washington students on a GW-NUS exchange every few years. I work with the Honors Program there. Beautiful place, a bit steamy. Was there June, 2012. Best wishes in your work.
