Lee Collins was a member of the education faculty from 1979-97. She has continued to make others her focus. Living in Pella, Collins is heavily involved in service work.

Tom Cook graduated from Central in 1969, joining the faculty the following fall. Until 1979, he taught music at Central and was director of many ensembles, including the celebrated CUI Marching Band.
