Mark Sabala 1995

Mark Sabala ’95 has been named the National Federation of High School Associations (NFHS) Missouri State Boys High School Coach of the Year for the second consecutive year. Mark guided the Hermitage High School (MO) boys cross country team to their third consecutive class I State Championship in Jefferson City in November. He was named Southwest Missouri Class 1 boys coach of the year for the third consecutive year, named boys cross country coach of the year for class 1 by the Missouri Track and Cross Country Coaches Association for the second year. Mark also started a track team last year and coached three All-State runners, including his son who placed 6th in the 3200 in 10:10. Mark and wife Stacy Duff Sabala ’95 live in Wheatland with their three children. Stacy teaches high school math and Title 1 speech at Hermitage Public High School in Hermitage.
