Margaret Tungseth began as vice president for finance and administration/treasurer (VPFA) on Sept. 19. She comes to Central with 15 years of experience at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., most recently as the assistant treasurer and director of risk management.
Tungseth has an MBA with an emphasis in accounting and finance from North Dakota State University. She has also earned a bachelor’s in accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead and a bachelor’s in economics and political science from Concordia. A certified public accountant, Tungseth is working toward her certified risk manager and associate in risk management designations.
At Central, Tungseth will provide leadership in a broad range of financial and administrative areas. “Central is a liberal arts college on the move as it continues to develop outstanding programs and explore innovative and sustainable opportunities,” says Tungseth. “I am eager to join the Central community at a time when we will be building on that momentum.”
