William E. Urmston ‘62
Majors: Economics and business administration
About me: Upon graduation I married Carol Lee Scott ’61. We have three wonderful children and five fantastic grandchildren. I spent my entire career with Liberty Mutual Group in New York, Boston and finally Dover, N.H. I retired several years ago and try to play golf in my spare time.
Hobbies/Activities: My number one hobby is golf, not that I am any good at it, but I still enjoy getting out when the weather permits. We enjoy traveling, church activities and, of course, our family, who by some miracle are still all within 100 miles of our home.
Memorable Central moments: I have many memorable moments from my days at CUI. Most, however, revolve around a certain blonde from Brooklyn, N.Y. Carol and I met when I was a freshman, and we have been “going steady” ever since. I have fond memories of Dr. Nanes and Dr. Butler, both excellent educators.
