Kris was selected by the Texas Association of School Boards to be one of 36 outstanding school board leaders from the 1,200+ districts in Texas to participate in a year long education leadership study program. She earned Master Trustee status – the highest designation recognized by the Texas Association of School Boards. Kris was elected to the Lewisville ISD board in May 2012 and has served as Secretary for the past two years.
